Register for the POSE Conference!

Our keynote speaker, John W. Farrington, Vice President of Academic Programs and Dean of Graduate Studies at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, will kick off the event followed by concurrent sessions that will feature exemplary collaborations among scientists, teachers, and facilitators centered on current ocean literacy initiatives developed by the National Geographic Society (NGS), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence (COSEE), and the National Marine Educators Association (NMEA). In addition, past COSEE participants are invited to present posters during our exhibit and social event.

COSEE-NE has created a community of ocean scientists, facilitators, classroom teachers, and informal educators engaged with one another in diverse ocean science programs. POSE-New England will be an opportunity for anyone who has participated in a COSEE-NE project, or who is interested in participating, to come together to share and celebrate our work. It will also be an inspiration for continuing to build our broad network and forging new cooperative efforts There is no fee associated with registration.
